The Lindsell Train Japan Fund ("LTJF") and Lindsell Train Global Media Fund ("LTMF") are unregulated collective investment schemes and their promotion is restricted under Section 238 of the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (the "Act"). Access to the information about these funds is restricted to certain types of investors. They are not considered suitable for private investors.
These funds are Cayman Island registered and may only be promoted in the United Kingdom to persons who are authorised by the Financial Services Authority (the 'FSA') to carry out investment business under the Act or institutional or experienced professional investors who qualify under the (Promotion of Collective Investment Schemes)(Exemptions) Order 2001.
The promotion of these Funds may also be restricted in other jurisdictions outside the UK. These Funds are not registered under the United States Securities Act 1933 ('1933 Act') or the Investment Company Act 1940 ('1940 Act') as amended and may not be promoted or sold to any US person as defined by Rule 902 of Regulation S under the 1933 Act unless they qualify as "accredited investors" within the meaning of Regulation D under the 1940 Act or as a 'qualified purchaser' under the 1940 Act.
